EuroAcademy have extensive experience in advising and providing support to family businesses and owners who wish to have confidential conversations and processes regarding future development and desired direction for the family and the business.
We have seen and know that there are often different interests and wishes about the future within a family group. Therefore, our experience is that it is beneficial to combine group conversations with individual talks, so that mutual understanding can develop and a common vision for the future can be created.
Each arrangement is structured according to the wishes of the family:
a) It may concern business matters, such as how the family business should develop in the future and who will take on continued responsibility within the family. There are often different interests and wishes for the future among family members.
b) It may involve questions regarding the distribution of financial and other assets, and how they should be allocated and managed in a fair and appropriate way.
c) Sometimes, one of the children in the family may take greater responsibility for the future because this is a desire within the family. In such cases, clarity is essential so that everyone understands what this involves and all are informed and in agreement.
d) It may also mean that the family is informed about what will happen and how these developments will affect the whole family.
